When you think of good pizza you don’t think Connecticut. I’ve had pizza there a total of 4 times now (tryna keep it countable on one hand) and of those 4, Frank Pepe’s in New Haven is the only one that was a winner. Brick oven is just about always great and good old Frank holds it down. We got half bacon half pepperoni and, though I’ve never been a huge fan of bacon pizza, it was honestly incredible to the point I liked it more than pepperoni. And I love pepperoni. If for some reason you find yourself in Connecticut (presumably en route between New York and Boston), make it a point to stop here. Oh, and the pie is fucking huge so you can stuff your face to your dying heart’s content. America!
